Cycling holidays are more popular than ever! And the good news is that more and more of you are combining this way of travelling with home exchanges.
So Iām putting out a call to all HomeExchangers who live near a cycling route, whether itās a EuroVelo route or a regional cycle path:
-
share the link to your listing in the comments
-
let us know where you are located
-
which cycle route is easily accessible from your home
-
and what kind of accommodation you offer to cycling HomeExchangers (private room, entire home, etc.)
This post will be featured in the next edition of the Gazette. Itās a great opportunity to give visibility to your home and your welcome for cycle tourists!
Letās go!
IMPORTANT

Bike the Washington DC area from our home in Alexandria Virginia. Scenic, paved trails connecting urban landmarks to suburban nature, headlined by the 45-mile W&OD Trail, the scenic 18-mile Mount Vernon Trial (just a few blocks from our home), Four Mile Run Trial, Capital Crescent Trail and the urban Arlington Loop. House with swimming pool in Alexandria, United States - Cecile and Keith's place
@cecemines, what a great idea for anyone visiting Washington! Just a heads-upāthe link you shared goes to the HomeExchange homepage, not your listing, so people wonāt be able to contact you. Cheers!
I love Belgium, especially Bruges and Ghent! The cities are beautiful, the chocolate is excellent, and in Ghent, thereās the Joost Arijs pastry shop, one of my favorites in Europe! If youāre traveling there, donāt miss trying itāthe pastries and chocolates are exquisite.
Iām going to save your home to my favorites for the next time we visit!
We live in San Francisco, CA on The Wiggle. This is a short bike route that connects our neighborhood to car free JFK Promenage in Golden Gate Park which connects by bike lane to the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. You can bike over the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County, home of both road and mountain biking.
