Here’s another (perfectly valid) question that often comes up: you’re about to welcome your first guests, and you’re wondering whether you should make space for them in your wardrobe—and if so, how much.
As with many things, there are no strict rules when it comes to home exchanging. The best approach is probably to put yourself in their shoes: imagine you’re staying, let’s say as a group of four, for about a week, in another member’s home. How much space would you need? Would you prefer to have shelves available, or hangers? Or both?
As you can see, it depends a bit on the length of the stay and the number of guests. Make sure they feel comfortable in your home by clearing a bit of space for them—either in your wardrobe or on a dedicated clothes rail.
