Hello. We are about to host our first exchange. I am wondering if it is expected to clear closet and shelf space (e.g., bedroom and kitchen) for our guests to use? Thanks for suggestions.

Welcome to the Forum and to HomeExchange. Howe exciting that you have your first exchange coming up! Please do check out the link that Etienne has sent, however in short - yes it is often the case that hosts will clear some space for guests to be able to hang clothes and store their food. It doesn’t have to be a large amount of space, but just enough relevant to the amount of time they are staying for.
