It’s time for a fun new contest!
Have you just come across the Fernandez family’s listing and already fallen in love with it? Now’s your chance to craft the perfect exchange proposal for them. You can suggest a stay with GuestPoints or propose a reciprocal exchange - it’s entirely up to you!
A “pretend” exchange request
Don’t worry, the Fernandez family doesn’t actually exist 
. The idea is simply to simulate a real request and reward the most original, charming, or heartwarming proposal.
This contest is open to everyone, whether you’re already part of HomeExchange or just discovering us for the first time.
How to take part

Take a look at the Fernandez family’s listing. Read it carefully, just as if you were preparing a real exchange.

Reply to this post with your exchange proposal: introduce yourself, share your travel plans, explain what you love about their home, and highlight anything you have in common. In short, make it personal: just like you would on the platform.
Important: please don’t share your own listing link, home ID, or photos. We want the voting to be as fair and objective as possible.
How the winner will be chosen
The proposal that receives the most reactions (likes, hearts, etc.) by the end of the contest will win. (Psst… feel free to share this contest with your friends!)
Contest deadline: November 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Paris time).
Prize: a gorgeous HomeExchange mug 
Contest rules:

One winner per forum. The author of the response with the most “likes” (all reactions included) by November 6, 2025, at noon (Paris time) will win a HomeExchange mug. The winner will be notified directly via the forum.

Each forum will have its own winner: so the same person cannot win on multiple forums at once.

You must participate on the forum that matches your HomeExchange account’s language and location (French members on the French forum, Spanish members on the Spanish forum, etc.). Posts on other forums will not be considered.

If you post on more than one forum, only the response on the correct forum for your account will count.

Four winners will be selected in total: one per forum.

In the event of a tie, the first response posted will win.

To keep things fair and fun, past winners of our forum contests within the last 12 months are not eligible.
