I believe that it is very important, as a responsible member of the community, to write a review and give a rating after each completed home exchange. This is useful information for any member who is searching for an exchange and wishes to gather information about the suitability of a home and/or a guest. Often, there is important information revealed in a review about a home which is missing, either purposely or inadvertently, when a member writes their profile and home description.
I suggest that a member’s “review given” score should be calculated and presented with each profile. The platform already displays other scores for each member, such as average “host” score, “guest” score, and response score. These are useful indications, in my opinion, of the responsibility of each member and degree of adherence to the Home Exchange philosophy.
The review score is simply the percentage of a member’s finalized exchanges in which they have given a review. For example if a member has been a host for 6 exchanges, and a guest for 4 exchanges; and wrote 6 reviews for their guests and 3 reviews for their hosts, they would receive a review score of 90%.
