Yes every Sunday
So you should be in by now
@Melissa.HomeExchange in relation to your reply from 11 days ago ( Tools to help with multiple requests - #10 by Melissa.HomeExchange ) - I could not see how to reply to that specific reply…
Whilst there have been only 2 ‘votes’, I think that there would be big (latent) demand for improvements like this.
Below is an anonymised response from a HEer in Morocco I contacted seeking an exchange:
je suis nouveau sur la plate-forme et malheureusement j’ai éte énormément sollicité, je suis submergé par les demandes, j’essaye tant bien que mal de valider au moins aux personnes avec qui, je pourrais échanger. Actuellement j’ai atteint mon quota maximum le reste des dates, je pense que je vais les laisser en location sur Airbnb.

I am new to the platform, and unfortunately, I have been inundated with requests. I am overwhelmed by the number of enquiries and am doing my best to approve at least those people with whom I could potentially communicate. I have now reached my maximum quota for the remaining dates, so I think I will leave them available for hire on Airbnb.
Speaking again for myself, and in the situation of having been a host nine times and struggling to find an exchange as an invitee, my solution to getting quite a lot of requests has been to reduce the availability I’m willing/able to show on our HE calendar to try to reduce the volume of requests.
I wonder how extensive the ideas are that are being considered by the product team, e.g. to be able to be more explicit, in a structured way, about the criteria you have that matter to you in considering requests. I’ve seen a lot of people putting things like ‘summer GP only’ in the title of their home.
On the searching to be an invitee side, one very flexible and powerful tool would be able to have tags (or even just lists) that are more extensive than ‘favorites’. E.g. tags on conversations and Homes for things like “Morocco 2026“ as well as “exchange looking hopeful”, “exchange looking very unlikely”
I’ll have a look to see if that has been raised in some channel in this forum!
Agreed.
All very good suggestions.
I hope they get developed soon.
