I belong to a few home exchange pages and I see a lot of HE member seeking exchanges. Is it getting harder to exchange. I also notice members decreasing points in the hopes of exchanging
I think because there are so many members now, (nearly 290,000 at the last count!) - there are just more members in the community and therefore more people actively looking for exchanges. The number of exchanges finalised is increasing, more than one every minute.

You may have a look at these listings to see if they request a high number of GPs.
For many members , there is a psychological limit at 200 GPs.
If these listings request more than 250 GPs , they may have some difficulties to exchange.
As far as i am concerned, i could ask for 290 GPs and it is listed less than 200 GPs.
It seems fair to me because i could exchange equally with most of the members.
Moreover i look for simultabeous or non simultaneous reciprocical exchanges in the first place.
