Delicious food, good wine, lots of festivals, wonderful museums, lovely people, hiking, canoeing, cycling, medieval villages, everything you wish in a unique area with wonderful nature.
Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Gubbio, Città della Pieve, Spoleto, Bevagna, Spello, Montefalco, Orvieto…are just some of the amazing places you can enjoy.

Umbria truly looks like one of Italy’s hidden gems. While many travelers focus on the more crowded destinations, places like Perugia, Assisi, and Spello seem to offer a more authentic experience with beautiful landscapes, rich history, and incredible food. I also love the idea of planning trips around local festivals and cultural events—it’s often the best way to experience a region.
