A slow travel its such a refreshing reminder that the little unplanned moments often end up being the most memorable. For me, things like chatting with a local shop owner or just sitting in a café watching life go by have shaped trips more than any big attraction ever could. Sometimes even the journey itself whether its on a local bus a train or something more comfortable like a patriots limousine can become part of the experience when you allow yourself to slow down and notice the details. whats one small unexpected moment from your travels that stayed with you the most?

Welcome to the Forum and thank you for this lovely thread. I completely agree with what you are saying, having the privilege of slow travel is so enriching for the soul, enabling you to really experience different cultures and ways of life. Personally however with two young children in school I can only dream of having such time (and quiet 
).
