Not being able to go elsewhere to allow guests to be welcomed It is not possible for us to use this option, so, with only 320 points, it is completely ruled out to be able to be during the month of August using a manifestly reduced and insufficient number of points
Ah OK. Just as a different point of view. I also only exchange my main home, but out of over 50 exchanges about 90% have been for guestpoints. I just find points easier and more flexible to use. As an example, I received a request last week for a reciprocal in Florida ( I live in France). I’m not able to travel to Florida but the member asked if I would accept points instead. I agreed and finalised an exchange with him for May. The points are immediately transferred to my account so now I’ll look for my destination for May with much more choice than with reciprocal. I would think that it would be easy for you to find guests in Spain for guestpoints.
Thank you again for your intervention. I understand that if you have flexibility in the dates that option can be interesting. However, as my wife is a teacher of Spanish language and literature, there is no calendar other than the school calendar, so that the time with the most consecutive days of vacation is precisely the months of July and August, with the consequent climatic obstacle of a Mediterranean climate. Any solution to overcome this inconvenience?

Nosotros llevamos 12 años intercambiando con recíprocos. Hay que ponerle ganas, pero se puede. Es cuestión de buscar, y ser proactivo enviando mensajes desde la aplicación.

Muchas gracias por tu aliento, pero la verdad es que no esperaba que el calor de Sevilla fuera un problema tan grande para encontrar un intercambio recíproco. Nunca me he visto en la situación de haber mandado 300 mensajes y no obtener ninguna respuesta positiva. No pensaba que sería un destino tan difícil como Venecia, Londres o Nueva York.
