2023 was an intense year both in terms of community activities and new features, so letās take a look back!

At the end of 2023, our community passed the 150,000 member mark (9,000 of whom joined after the acquisition of Love Home Swap)!
You love HomeExchange so much, that you couldnāt keep this great way of traveling to yourself. In total, 29,824 of you have sponsored 62,840 HomeExchangers. So thank you very much, because if our community is growing, itās mainly down to you!
In total, you spent 5,687,391 nights on home exchanges. A special mention goes to Eurielle and Maƫl who, with 49 exchanges, are the top HomeExchangers of 2023.
For our part, we have reached 130 team members, including 57 recruited in 2023. Which means more people to support you even better!
2023 was also enhanced by the introduction of a number of important new features

To name but a few, at the end of February, we implemented loyalty badges on the HomeExchange site. These badges aim to increase transparency of information shared between our members, by reflecting the number of year(s) of loyalty of each member, and rewarding the most loyal HomeExchangers!
Weāve also introduced new filters to enhance your exchange search experience. You can now filter by āprivate roomā and āpet allergiesā. āEco-responsible equipmentā, āelectric car socketā, and āaccess to public transportā have also arrived!
The basis of our community is the ease with which you can find exchanges, so weāre working hard on that!
The biggest news was the acquisition of Love Home Swap, which opened the doors of our community to new members, and led to an increase in available accommodation, particularly in the UK.
What a year! And of course the adventure continues in 2024ā¦
