Good morning. I am quite new to HE and am planning to attend a HE Day event soon. I will have lots of questions when I attend.
I dont have any reviews yet, but will be hosting three separate families this summer.
I will be exchanging with one of the families in the early spring of next year. I want to extend my trip and stay another two weeks either in Dieppe or somewhere in the south of France.
I have been respectfully contacting several members and I either get a no or no response at all. Am I just asking too early? Please advise as I dont want to offend.

Yes it might be very early. I live near Dieppe but don’t know what I’ll do in a year. I’m still thinking of my October holidays and where to go for example 
excepts retired people or second homes, a lot of members don’t have their holiday period this soon. You can ask, no harm done, but it might be early

I think it does vary a lot - some people like to plan very far in advance, others are more last minute. I have not planned anything for next year yet, but if I was to receive a great proposal then I would start my planning
