2024 is off to a great start, dear HomeExchangers!
Here’s a feature that was highly requested by the community, and that my colleagues on the Product team have been working on for a while.
I’m very pleased to announce that from now on, you’ll no longer need to contact member services to change the details of your exchanges!
Thanks to this new feature, you can now modify the following yourself:
- the dates of your already finalized exchange
- the number of guests in your finalized exchange
Of course, changes will only take effect once your exchange partner has approved the change (member A makes the change request, member B approves (or refuses - the change is then finalized).
This first version is valid:
- only for non-reciprocal exchanges (with GuestPoints, that is) (we’ll keep you posted as soon as it’s up and running for reciprocal exchanges too)
- on the web only for now (apps will follow later this year - we need to migrate the messaging system first, so this will take some time).
