I’m Purity Kapeen from Kenya. Excited to be here. Our home is available from June to October 2025 for the breathtaking Wildebeest Migration, Africa safari adventures and Big Five sightings. We’re also seeking for a destination exchange around February 2026 - a Couple,
Welcome at the forum!
A home in Kenia sounds interesting. Could you post your link or your home id number?
And maybe you could say some more about what you are looking for in 2026? Where, how long, what would you like? That way you’ll more likely get responses.
Our Home ID #2553975
Thank you so much for the warm welcome!
Yes, I’d be happy to share more details. Our home is located in Kenya, next to the famous Maasai Mara—a truly special place surrounded by nature, culture, and wildlife. You can find it home ID number #2553975.
For 2026, we’re looking to do a home exchange ideally for 2 weeks. We’re open to various destinations, especially ones rich in culture, nature, or coastal charm—Europe or America would be wonderful. We’re flexible on dates too, so feel free to reach out if you think we might be a match!
Looking forward to connecting with you all!
I have had a look at your home and it looks great for a family holiday. However, from the pictures it looks more like a tourist resort, so I wonder if you only swap the entire home for 21 hosts as advertised or if there would be a possibility to have a hospitality stay for a reduced number of visitors with a reduced GPoints?
On the other hand, I think it would be great if you added some personal info about you in your add, as, from my own experience, most families want to know who are they going to swap their homes with.
And I also wonder if the chef you talk about in your add is included in the deal when swapping homes with you
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback! I’m really happy you found our home appealing for a family holiday.
To introduce myself—my name is Purity Neeyio Kapeen, born and raised in Narok, right at the doorstep of the Masai Mara. I currently live in the U.S. with my husband, and our home in the Mara is a beloved secondary residence. Given its location and unique setup, we rent it out in different forms, but for HomeExchange, we offer select dates under its terms and conditions. My family and I are avid travelers, which is why we gladly accept GuestPoints.
While the house may appear like a resort in the photos, it’s very much a warm, welcoming home—and we always want our guests to feel that way. We usually offer the entire house for exchanges, but if you’re a smaller group, we’re happy to discuss a reduced GuestPoints arrangement, in line with HomeExchange guidelines.
Because of the remote location, we’ve arranged for daily housekeeping and meals to be available at a small, value-for-money fee. This ensures you can relax and truly enjoy the experience. The chef mentioned in the listing is indeed available if you’d like meals prepared during your stay—again, just a modest fee applies.
We’ve just joined HomeExchange and already have guests coming over this summer—a group of three who will have the entire house to themselves. We’d love to host more families and share the magic of the Masai Mara during one of its most spectacular seasons: the Great Wildebeest Migration!
We’d be honored to host you—please consider experiencing our home this summer!
Warm regards,
Purity
