Feature Suggestion and Request: Add “TRIPS” (not just destinations)

Hi Team/Home Exchange

I’d love to suggest a feature that would make planning and using the app much easier, while also driving more exchanges. At the moment, we can save destinations, but travel planning is usually based around trips rather than just single locations.

Idea:

  • Add the ability to create and save Trips in the app.

  • A trip could include multiple destinations and saved homes under one plan.

  • For example:

    • “Summer Europe 2026” → add Paris, Rome, Florence, Amsterdam homes into one Trip.

    • “Weekend Getaways” → add Mornington Peninsula, Daylesford, Yarra Valley homes for short breaks.

  • Users can then plan multi-stop journeys and short escapes all in one place.

Why it matters (for members and HomeExchange):

  • Makes it easier for members to organize and visualize both big adventures and weekend escapes.

  • Encourages users to save and book more homes per trip, which naturally drives more exchanges.

  • Aligns the app with how people already plan travel, creating stickier engagement and repeat use.

This would really enhance the experience for members while helping HomeExchange grow usage and bookings.
