When we first join HomeExchange, many of us have said, “I’d like to book/rent your home”
It’s completely normal. We often come from a world of holiday rentals and hotels.
But within the HomeExchange community, members have their own vocabulary, and the words we use in our first message or in our listing can make all the difference when it comes to convincing another member to host us. A message that “sounds like HomeExchange” shows your exchange partner that you understand the spirit of the community (and that can make a difference when they’re deciding whether to say yes!).
