Our home has something to offer for (almost) every type of holiday, so come if you like:

- culture. Visit our markets, restaurants, the Martini tower, the Forum or musea; enjoy the street art; eat Dutch things like stroopwafels, drop and frikadellen; see the inside of a mill; visit musea; walk through our beautiful canal city

- biking. You can use all our bikes. We have got at least 3 for adults and 4 for children, in various sizes (but the ones for children are not used anymore, so we’d have to check if they still work)

- nature. We know all the best hiking places! Forest, grasslands, moors and more! Or visit an island on a day trip

- animals. There’s a children’s farm around our corner. Within an hour drive, there are three zoos. At one, you can wrap a snake around your neck!:open_mouth:You can see seals in their natural environment. If you like bird watching, we can tell you where to go

- lakes. There are plenty in our environment, including a small one (maybe more a large pond) that’s near with an artificial beach where you can go to swim. You can take our beach material for playing in the sand and water

- sports. You can do things like swimming, climbing, cart racing, mini golf, canoeing, etc. There’s a football cage at the end of our street

- doing things with your children, like going to fun parks, a fairy tales park, glow jungle golfing, play with all the toys we have, etc. There are lots if things to do of which we have been told that you can’t find them (much) in forei gn c ountries.

What you get when staying in our home:

- home with 5 bed rooms, 7 places to sleep (1 bed 160*200 cm, 1 bed 140*200 cm, 3 beds 90*200 cm)

- desks in all the rooms

- all things you may need, like a dryer and a modern well equipped kitchen with amongst others lots of plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, pans and a dish washer and a tap that provides boiled water instantly

- good WiFi in the whole house

- toys for children like Playmobil, Lego, many cars (mainly from Cars) and a very large wooden train set with many locs of Thomas the Train

- a (mainly terraced) garden (with a nice border) where you can sit, and that is big if you take into account that we live (in a suburb) in a large city

- since there are so many things to you, you get a list with personal tips about what to do in the city and the environment, based on your ages, interests and how far you’d like to travel to see something interesting

- an exchange with experienced home exchangers with good reviews (I am actually a Home Exchange ambassador and have been helping newbies f or quite some time now)

There’s a family arriving on the 26th, so if you stay till that day, we’ll ask you to leave in the morning, so that someone can check in and prepare for the next guests.
