What would you say to convince your best friend to start home exchanging?

Imagine you’re talking to your best friend, or a colleague, who’s skeptical about home-exchanging (for example, they say something like “and they’re going to sleep in your bed!?" or "And you’re not afraid of welcoming strangers into your home!??”).

What would you tell them so that they don’t think you’ve lost your marbles by joining the HomeExchange community?

We took our besties on our last exchange and they are now convinced that it works smoothly and easily. Done!! :star:

I have had conversations about HomeExchange with ractically all my friends ánd acquaintances and told them all an honest story about homeswapping. Many of them want to become a member, but not until their adult children who don’t travel with them anymore have left their homes.

I strongly suggest having someone manage you home if you are not there. Lots of us are renting and already use a manager so it happens anyway. Even a friend you can get to be there and check all is okay. It helps that we have been using for around 15 years with no problems. I let them know it harder work to organize an exchange but definitely worth it. I see it is evolving.
