I’d like to invite you to consider a truly unique and stunning destination: Margarita Island, Venezuela. While many people may only be familiar with the official reports about Venezuela, which often paint a negative picture, I’m here to share a different perspective based on my personal experience.
I’ve owned a home on Margarita Island for 18 years, and I can confidently say it’s a safe, peaceful, and truly beautiful place to visit. While there was a time when traveling to Venezuela was challenging due to political and economic circumstances, I’m thrilled to share that, over the past two years, life on Margarita Island has returned to its former charm.
Unlike the mainland, Margarita Island is a serene, resort-like destination where you’ll find tranquility, safety, and a vibrant local culture. It’s a haven of natural beauty, with pristine beaches, warm hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere.
We with my husband travel to Margarita every November and usually stay for a couple of months. During this time, I’d be delighted to exchange my home with properties in nearby islands, especially in Tobago as there is direct flight there from Margarita or neighbouring countries, such as Colombia or other close-by destinations for 1-2 weeks.
