Hello, I am Trenke from Groningen in the north of the Netherlands. I’ve just turned 50. 
I am married to Martin and we have three children, Marie (2003), Elian (2005) and Rowan (2007).
We are members since 2016, when we received our first guests, Italians. From 2017, nearly all our holidays have been arranged through HE. I love it!
Our daughter doesn’t normally travel with us anymore, but in 2025, we want to take our children and their partners on a trip, because in that year, my husband and I will have been married for 25 years. At this moment, our sons don’t have partners, but theymay come.
We prefer going to places near hills/mountains in the following countries: Luxembourg, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, the north of Italy, the north of Spain. We love hiking and nature, especially in the mountains with rocks, waterfalls and gorges, but we also visit the occasional medieval city, castle or zoo.
I actually have quite some experience with forums, but this one takes some figuring out, I think.
