Hello everyone. I am Kathleen, from a beach community in North Carolina. I am a Home Exchange Ambassador and have enjoyed being on the “front lines” in previewing new ideas introduced by home exchange. When we moved to a beach community it seemed we always had guests in and out of the bouse. Exchanging homes seemed a natural evolution. We have had over 60 exchanges and have met wonderful people along the way. Because we love baseball many of our exchanges have been in cities that have baseball stadiums. Luckily lots of people in those cities love to come to the beach.
We are searching for a home exchange (points or reciprocal) in Tuscany for August 2024 when we will attend a grandson’s wedding in Chianti…

We vacationed in Nags Head in 1993 and loved it. Would love to go back someday. Some times the problem is too many choices of great places to go. What’s the best time to visit NC?
Our favorite time of year is May, when the weather is mild. Summers are wonderful for the beach, but this is a tourist destination, so traffic picks up and eating establishments are busy. October is also beautiful, but there is always a risk of hurricanes August through October. We have never had storm damage in our 26 years here, but we have had to evacuate a couple of times. North Carolina has much to offer, from the mountains in the west, lively cities in the middle and beaches on the coast.
