Hi Connie, welcome! We’ll be looking in Melbourne next year. Do you have a home link yet please? Here’s ours in the UK:

Best wishes,

Hi Kate

Here is ours. https://www.homeexchange.com/homes/view/2993609

It’s not as big as yours. The unit is on the same property as our own home, but is stand alone & has its own carport, We have lots of flex with dates at this point in time. Happy to do something with points (lower them) for a longer stay as well. We are just starting on the hone exchange journey.

I’m trying to convince hubby to put our main house up.l as well. It’s bigger with great views across the ranges. It is tricky because at the moment we are still both working full time (only 2 more years :))so can’t just pick up & go. I think he will change his mind once we’ve had a few stays.

I have good friends who live near Cambridge (Huntingdon) :).

At this stage we are planning a UK trip in 2027 for the Ashes.

Hi Connie, yours looks great and it’s in a wonderful location. We haven’t ever exchanged for a house as big as ours actually, because it’s always the location that’s more important (we stayed in California last year which was amazing!). We do need beds for 4 though - even if one is a camp bed.

We also work full time, but I always take the day before we leave off work to get the house ready. For this reason, we try to agree exchanges of a minimum of 5 days because there some work involved in preparing the place.

If you can squeeze in an extra bed then let’s stay in touch for 2027!

Happy planning,

Kate

Hi Kate

definitely an option. The second room has a king single & a fold up single in the wardrobe.

yes, absolutely stay in touch. Our preference would be for a few weeks. But let’s touch base next year :).
