We wait for you in our house located in a typical mountain hamlet in the Piedmont Alps.
The house offers mountain views and it is spacious, yet very simple and essential. It is bright and cool, making it ideal for escaping the sweltering heat of the city.
The furniture is vintage.
Here, you can enjoy the luxury of rediscovering a slow pace of life, disconnecting from the daily grind, and reconnecting with yourself and nature. The house has a fenced garden: dogs are welcomed!
The right place for a rinvigorating digital detox!
Being close to the valley’s main road, the house is located right at the bus stop for connections from Turin and Pinerolo. Just a stone’s throw away, you will find a quality grocery shop (selling fresh bread, cheeses, cured meats, sweets, milk, fruits, and vegetables), a bar-trattoria, the church, and a playground with a soccer field and basketball court.
Many trails suitable for the whole family start right around the house, allowing you to explore the valley, dip your feet in the Chisone stream, and immerse yourself in the woods.
The imposing Fenestrelle Fort, a must-visit landmark, is only about 3 km away.
Just a little further ahead, you will find Usseaux, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages (“Borghi più belli d’Italia”), famous for its beautiful murals painted on the houses, and the scenic Lake Laux.
The Chisone Valley, where the house is located, connects to France. From the nearby town of Pragelato, you can also access a side valley, Val Troncea, which is wonderful to explore.
However, if you start missing the city, you can reach the center of Turin in one hour. There, you can visit the Egyptian Museum, the National Museum of Cinema, the Carignano Theater, elegant squares that feel like open-air living rooms, the Porta Palazzo market, and historic cafés where you can taste delicacies like the bicerin.
There is no Wi-Fi connection in the house.
The TV is not connected to broadcast channels but is hooked up to a DVD player. You will find a collection of classic family movies in the house for you to enjoy.
