New to HE and after registering there, I also joined this forum.
Just want to check with you all for the use and popularity of this forum.
Does anyone know how many of the registered HE members are active here on this forum?
And what is the best use of the forum for you personally, if you would like to share?
I have read many of the posts (and wrote a few already) trying to assess whether this is good way of engaging with the HE community or itβs a dead end street?

If members are allowed to express their thoughts (good or bad) and ask questions, this forum will be a success.
Simply because many people arrive on a forum because they need help or they have a question.
They donβt come if everything is fine and in order.
After having received some help or suggestion, people may come back to discuss or help in return.
Yes, that is true. Personally, I avoid using Facebook-groups that are public, both for general safety reasons regarding personal data, but also because i have a variety of contacts and would like to have more control on what I share with different groups of persons. So this forum would be my preference.
I also feel that a forum like this could work better to search for advice on different topics. Just my opinion.
