Hello, this is Gerlinde and Fritz. We have been practicing home exchange since 1987 and have been active on HomeExchange since around 2011. Although we are older, our fascination with traveling has not diminished. We have had many positive experiences and met many nice people around the world. A special experience was the trip to Australia and Tasmania at the end of 2018 for 7 weeks. There were no guest points yet, and during this time we had several accommodations, exclusively as guests. Life with the family, cooking and baking together, shared activities, etc. remain in our memory. That’s why we are always on the lookout for new home exchange partners and hope that we can continue to travel this way for a long time. We live in Germany, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, and our village is located near the Saar-Hunsrück National Park. We live close to the forest and love our house and garden. The landscape is unique.
