HomeEchange day in Asia

Hi,
It’s my first time hosting a HomeExchange day. I am of French origin but I am a Britush citizen. I currently live in Busan, South Korea, where i will host the meet-up. I know the Asian culture is not quite as open to the idea of exchanging homes as in the West, so I would like some tips from anyone who has hosted a HomeExchange meet up last year. What are the main hesitations you faced, and the main drivers you accentuated to convince your audience?
Thank you!

Oh wow that’s great news that you’re keen to spread the word of Home Exchange in South Korea. What an exciting place to live. Perhaps you would like to share the link to your meetup here?

Thank you for the suggestion, i hadn’t thought about posting here as I thought everyone on this forum would already know about HomeExchange. But I will do as soon as my meet up has been updated. I sent a request to change the date and time a few days ago as the 6-7-8 is a long Bank Holiday weekend.
Thanks!

Knowing about HomeExchange doesn’t mean they are a member, they could visit the forum just out of interest and might be interested in hearing more about experiences. You never know!

This is the forum to change any details of your meet up Edit your meetup form

Yes the Forum is a great place to spread the word and not everyone in the Forum is a member. Also the meetups are also open to current HE members too - a real community event  There may even be others in your area who you could group together with to host if that’s something you’d like to do.
