We are Bill and Meg, and are new to Home Exchange. We are retired and traveling about 9 months of the year chasing the warm weather around the world. We have been renting our house as mid-term rentals to traveling nurses, but have decided to give Home Exchange a try. So far we have been surprised by getting a lot of requests this winter, but I can’t accept because our renter keeps extending. We are looking for places too but we are getting a lot of non-responses.
We mostly stay in Airbnb’s and are currently booked through next April. We are currently in Greece and then we will go to Mexico when it get cold at the end of the month. Then we will be in Asia January through April (Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Turkey). After a couple weeks in Seattle, we will head to Eastern Europe until July. When we are back in Seattle next summer, we hope to book our place and build up some GP’s while we stay with family and friends. We then are heading back to Europe in September starting in Dublin.
So far everyone that has contacted us, I wanted to accept. Everyone seems like they would be great guests. I’m looking forward to actually accepting the requests.

How exciting that you’ll give home exchanging a go too! Looking forward to hearing about how your first exchanges go when you finally get a chance to finalize them but it sounds like you’ll have no difficulties find them as your home looks lovely!
