Hello friends,
I’m Christina and I live with my husband Neil in Santa Rosa, California, in the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. It is a beautiful region with lots to offer that we love sharing with others.
I am a non-profit director and he is a software engineer, and we are both musicians on the side. We have two adult sons who live in Portland Oregon, and one of the main reasons we joined HE last year was to make it more feasible to visit them in Portland and ALSO to be able to swing our own vacations from time to time. We’ve only been exchanging for a year at this point, but have already had 13 exchanges, all of them perfectly wonderful on both sides. We have only had excellent experiences hosting others in our home, and having the privilege of caring for other people’s homes. We especially love when we exchange with people who have cats, because we adore cats and have one of our own named Sylvie who is very sweet and loves cuddles and people.
We have even made friends with another couple we exchanged with after staying n their place in San Francisco for a couple of weekends this year - so much fun! We JUST booked our first international exchange to Paris in October - VERY excited!
Neil from the UK and we’ll be visiting there sometime in 2025 for his daughter’s wedding. We look forward to many years of home exchanging, who knows where it will take us…what an adventure.
