We’ve been on HomeExchange now for about two years and we had only had one exchange from Europe. Canadians travel to Europe regularly. We were there in May of last year and had great home exchanges. We hope to see more Europeans in Canada, especially now that we’re facing similar geopolitical challenges as Europe. Canada is safe, friendly and economical. In the summer months, we have fabulous weather. Welcome to Canada!

Canada is not too far.
But i would suggest to improve the listings in showing (description and photos) all the activities and sightseeings around.
The country is big and people don’t know the hidden gems.
For example, when i was planning my trip in Quebec , i was quite interested in listings near beach lakes and i was wondering what was the temperature of the water in july - august.
And obviously things to do.
We swam in the Saint Laurent River near Montreal and the temperature was fine.
Canada is known as a cold country so let people know they can do plenty of things.

Canada is certainly on my wish list! Although I have to agree with Nathalie, it is a large country - almost overwhelming to know where to start when planning a trip. Please do add your listing link to this post as i’m sure there will be many members here who would be interested.
We are just home from a Canadian-Ireland reciprocal exchange. We visited Quebec for 3 weeks with toddler and baby, and we absolutely loved it! So much to do with kids, would recommend to everyone! Flight from dublin to Montreal is 6 hours, which is not too bad considering lots of families I know travel to Canaries (almost 4 hours).
We live in a part of Canada with a large French-speaking population, and have almost always been able to find at least one exchange per year in recent years with France. Other parts of Europe are more difficult, as most people from non French-speaking countries of Europe do not seem very interested in Canada, or if they are, it is only to one of the big cities (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver) or to the Rocky Mountain area. There are fabulous sights and cities all across Canada, but our tourism industry does not seem very interested in advertising our country in Europe.
Are you willing to consider using the Guest Points system? There is a certain large minority of HE members who view the system unfavourably, but we use it extensively and have been able to do many wonderful Guest-points visits to Europe, usually because many people in other parts of Canada and the USA are interested in visiting our region, and we use the GPs collected from them to visit places in Europe where it is difficult to find reciprocal exchanges.
