Madrid's Best Location for Exploring the City on Foot - Prioritising Guestpoints in July and August 2026

:sun: GUEST POINTS AVAILABLE – CENTRAL MADRID | JULY & AUGUST :sun:

Looking for a summer escape in one of Europe’s most exciting capitals?

I’m delighted to welcome Guest Point guests to my home in central Madrid this July and August, with a preference for longer stays.

What makes this apartment truly special is its location. It sits at the crossroads of Sol, Barrio de las Letras (the Literary Quarter) and LavapiĂ©s—three of Madrid’s most vibrant and characterful neighbourhoods. From here, you can simply step outside and explore the city on foot.

Within a 10-minute walk you’ll find:

‱ The Prado, Reina Sofía & Thyssen museums
‱ Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol & the Royal Palace
‱ Retiro Park
‱ Gran Vía, Chueca & La Latina
‱ Plaza Santa Ana and hundreds of wonderful tapas bars, cafĂ©s and restaurants

The apartment comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests and offers:
✓ 2 bedrooms
✓ 2 bathrooms
✓ Air conditioning
✓ Fast Wi-Fi
✓ Fully equipped kitchen
✓ Spacious living room
✓ A surprisingly quiet building in the heart of the city

Why visit Madrid in July and August?

Summer is one of Madrid’s best-kept secrets. The city slows down, making it easier to enjoy museums, book great restaurants, and discover neighbourhoods at your own pace. Warm evenings invite you to linger over dinner on a terrace, stroll through lively plazas, or simply soak up the atmosphere that makes Madrid so special.

It’s also the perfect base for exploring Spain, with easy day trips to Toledo, Segovia, Ávila and El Escorial, as well as high-speed trains to destinations across the country.

If you’re looking to experience Madrid like a local while staying in one of the city’s very best locations, I’d love to host you.

Guest Point stays are my priority this summer, especially for longer visits.
