FAMILY HOME EXCHANGE – SPAIN ↔ IRELAND – SCHOOL YEAR 2027/28
Hello! We are a Spanish family looking for an Irish family interested in a very special experience: a reciprocal home exchange for an entire school year.
We are a family with two children, aged 5 and 8, living in Valdelagrana, El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, southern Spain.
Our dream is to spend the 2027/28 school year living in Ireland, so our children can attend a local school, improve their English and experience Irish family life and culture.
In return, we would love to offer our home in Spain to an Irish family who would like to spend a school year in Andalucía, allowing their children to experience Spanish life and learn Spanish.
We live in Valdelagrana, a very family-friendly area next to the beach, close to El Puerto de Santa María and Cádiz.
We are thinking approximately from August/September 2027 until June/July 2028 although we are open to discussing the dates.
We are looking for a genuine reciprocal family exchange, not simply a holiday swap. The idea would be for both families to live in each other’s homes and experience everyday life in the other country.
We would love to get to know a family first, have video calls, discuss schools and practical details, and see whether we might be a good match.
