We are going to Australia for a month in May 2026 1st-30th. Our house will be available for the month. If you have guest points to use ( preferable) or a possible exchange at another time other than May, we would welcome options. It is the end of autumn here, as much as I love summer I love the seasons and anticipate the first fire in our lovely wood burner. We have a lot of wood and it is so cosy. On saying that it isn’t that cold. I’ve looked up average temperatures for May here and its between 10 and 14 celcius ( 50-57 F). Waikanae beach is a special place- the council has restrictions on in fill building which makes it feel like a NZ beach holiday spot from the past. Where we are the side streets have no footpaths, the beach is beautiful. We are an hour from Wellington. We would leave a car, lots to explore, work from here or just enjoy a break.
